If you don't know what crown molding is, it's that part in the crease between the top end of the walls and the ceiling.

You can insert these wood trim moulding (or other types of crown molding) pieces in the crease and create a clean looking border at the top.

Think Roman accents and fantastic looking trim that wakes up the room and gives it much more definition.

Crown molding can be very powerful, but if you want something less robust there are designs that take advantage of a lower volume design (smaller and less in your face).

There are a lot of designs, styles, colors and even materials that make up the crown molding. Ideally you want to get a light weight foam or vinyl moulding for low weight and less effects where gravity is concerned.

These will be put high up and with maximum gravity pulling it down.

If the crown moulding is light enough, you can install it with special glues that adhere it to the wall but don't damage the wall so you can remove it later if you want.

You can get wood trim moulding that is also light, and heavier versions of crown moulding can be installed but are more permanent in nature as they require anchoring with nails or screws into the wall itself.

This type of moulding is often longer so you can take advantage of studs in the wall for supporting it and keeping it there.

Decorative wood trim moulding brings out a room, especially if you change out the plug and light switch covers so they match the crown moulding.

It really ties a room together. There are several types of wood available from pine to oak.

You can generally find these at Lowe's, Ace, and other home improvement stores.

Be sure to check their online catalogue as well because they have a lot more choices there that you won't find in the store necessarily.

You can have anything you order delivered to your home or to the store for free and you just pick it up.
